Let's learn to live with floods and disaster

Disaster Preparedness Cell

Disaster Preparedness relates not only to the capability of a particular Institution or Community, but also their ability to respond to disaster and mitigate the effect of disaster. Prevention or mitigation measures can particularly help to reduce the loss of lives, property and the suffering of the affected population. Prevention measures are also often cheaper in the long run than the mere disaster response.
