one month Ganga at Panchanandapur , Malda district if West
Bengal is changing her course suddenly jeopardizing life of some
odd 500,000 people living nearby. The consistent erosion had already
gulped seven villages and threatening to take a different route via Pagla,
another dry riverlet flowing nearby.Bhangan Protirodh
Mancha(GBPM),a civil society has been formed at Kolkata consisting
various intellectuals, NGOs and like minded organisations. GBPM has secretariat
